Library of Social Science works with three constituencies to promote and sell scholarly books:
- Publishers
- Authors
- The book’s target audience
As publishers know, authors are often reticent about promotion. Is this because they are shy or—more likely—because they want to get on to the next: a book that will be even bigger and better?
Library of Social Science encourages authors to lift their eyes away from research and writing—and to become involved in marketing their book.
The titles to the right and below (with authors’ photos) are ones that have been presented multiple times at our 2016 book exhibits. We salute authors and publishers who have insisted on getting these books out into the world. |
